This particular fall mini session also served as a maternity session! This sweet little girl now has twin sisters at home with her. If you’ve seen my Facebook page you’ve seen a sneak peek of their sweetness. I hope to blog all about them soon!
Christmas?! I know, see how behind I am with blogging? Last year I did fall/holiday minis in November. That’s a busy time of the year getting family portraits completed, Christmas cards designed, and placing last minute holiday orders for clients. During that time I rarely find the time to blog! I didn’t get a chance to share any of my 2013 Christmas Mini Sessions (even on the old blog), so I thought I’d take some time to play a little catch up here. I thought this might be a good week for it since we’re expecting, what will hopefully be, the last of any winter weather.
I’ve been working on a new Megan Lane Photography website for the past two years. My poor previous website has been in need of an update for quite some time and I wanted to mainstream my blog and website together as one. I also found that with the creation of Facebook, I tended to update that page often and my website went on the wayside. When I discontinued shooting weddings and really began focusing on newborn photography I knew this change was a must. Along with my new website also came the creation of my new logo and I’m excited to launch everything for you to see!
For those that don’t know me, I’m Megan Lane Jones. I love photography. I love shooting people from newborns to the very old and wrinkled. It gives me a great high to capture that right moment when there’s a twinkle in a new mother’s eyes as she looks at her baby. It also excites me to shoot happy and pregnant women, little children with wide-eyed innocence or extended families enjoying some time at the beach. I‘ve had wonderful memories of shooting families who want to seize important moments in their lives by asking me for a photo shoot. For me, photography isn’t work, it’s a pleasure and a passion. After all, I get to meet so many wonderful people.
This website is still a work in progress. You will find some pages that still state they are under construction. I still have a lot more ideas for this site, so bare with me as things are added. Hopefully I can stay up-to-date with blog posts too! I have lots of cuteness that I’ve photographed over the last few months to share with you! If you’d like to refer to some past blog posts you can visit my previous blog, here.
